Bug Off, Bugs! (Safe for ages 2+)

When to Use: When you're headed outside and don't want to be bitten, stung, or bothered by flying, creeping, or crawling critters. 

Description: The scent of citronella is prominent but softened by the scent of the other oils. The lotion bar is the hardest consistency, the stick is slightly softer and the oil is thin consistency. Ingredients and Benefits: Essential oil blend of Virginia Cedarwood, Citronella, Lemon Eucalyptus, and Catnip;  

• Lotion bar (40 ml) -- above essential oil blend at 2.5% dilution in a base of Kokum and Shea Butter, Beeswax, and Neem Oil
• Stick (15 ml) -- above essential oil blend at 2.5% dilution in a base of Kokum and Shea Butter, Beeswax, and Neem Oil
• Roller-ball - Oil -- (5 ml, 10 ml) 2.5% blend of above essential oil blend in Grapeseed and Neem Oils
• Neem oil is a carrier oil that has been found to repel insects.  

How to Use: Lotion Bar/Stick: Hold lotion bar in hands to soften slightly and rub on exposed skin. Swipe stick across exposed skin and rub in if necessary.  Roll-on Oil:  Roll on exposed skin and rub in gently. Avoid eye area and mucous membranes. 

Additional Information:  Several studies have found that citronella, cedarwood, and catnip are as effective as DEET in repelling insects. 

Additional Benefits:   Kokum and Shea Butters, and Beeswax provide skin with protection from wind and sun, are moisturizing and can soothe itchiness and irritation.  

Do not ingest any essential oils or products. Inhalation safe when used as directed, otherwise for external use only. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on open or infected areas. Keep out of reach of children. Not for children under 2. Safe for ages 12+ unless noted; products safe for ages 2+ noted on product page. Use with caution if pregnant or nursing. Essential oils not recommended during first trimester of pregnancy. Consult healthcare provider if taking multiple medications, have serious health issues, or are undergoing treatment for cancer or serious illness. Discontinue use if condition worsens or does not improve or adverse effects occur. For best scent and optimal results use products within 6-12 months.
