When to Use: When sinus discomfort and pressure has your face and head hurting.
Description: This calming, uplifting, fresh scent will ease uncomfortable symptoms and help sharpen your mind and lift lethargy so you can get through the day.
Ingredients and Benefits:
- Eucalyptus Dives - expectorant (thins and breaks up mucous), decreases inflammation (congestion) in the sinuses and lungs
- Spike Lavender - expectorant
- Tea Tree - antibacterial, decreases inflammation
- Ginger - analgesic (sooths pain)
- Frankincense Frereana - sooths pain, decreases inflammation
- Carriers - Grapeseed Oil and Beeswax absorb quickly, calm irritated skin, and moisturize
How to Use: With finger, gently rub/pat small amount of balm under and around eyes (do not get into eyes!), along side of nose, on temples and/or back of neck, to soothe pressure and discomfort. May also apply under nose and inhale scent, and soothe irritated skin.
Additional Information: Symptoms of sinus discomfort can last for several weeks. Increase your fluid intake, inhale warm steam (in shower or over a warm pot of water), get plenty of rest, and consider supplements to shorten healing time. Consult your primary healthcare provider if symptoms worsen or you develop a high fever or severe pain. Go to the ER immediately if you experience shortness of breath.
